「醴」形容醇美的事物。「醴酒」則是中華文化中特殊的甜酒，從達官顯貴到百姓黎庶，從拜相封侯到洞房花燭夜，既可以當作奢華大宴，亦可成為日常小酌。
「醴酩」的宗旨則更近一步，是希望將奢華融入日常的生活哲學 “Daily Luxury”，並因此持續尋覓那些與台灣文化共鳴、能貼合我們飲食習慣與美學感受的自然、樸實佳釀。
我們一路走來，穿梭於不同的釀酒傳統與風土經驗，在無數風味與產區之中摸索學習，逐漸形成了屬於醴酩的選酒視角與標準。
在這樣的歷程中，紐西蘭成為我們理念實踐的理想夥伴之一。它與台灣同為海島，橫跨多重緯度，風土純淨多變，並以尊重自然、永續創新為核心。這樣的精神，正呼應著我們所相信的未來釀酒風貌。
以這樣的選酒方式為鏡，我們持續探索世界各地的酒莊與產區，挖掘每一處所孕育出的獨特潛能，包括各式壤土、原生老藤、野生酵母、田野發酵、酒渣培養、低硫干預與自然釀造等等，將葡萄酒千姿百態、由土地、人與釀造哲學共同形塑的面貌，呈現給願意細細品味的人們。

“Lǐ” (醴) is a classical term used to describe something rich and beautiful. “Lǐ wine” (醴酒) refers to a special kind of sweet wine in traditional Chinese culture.
