「醴」形容醇美的事物；「醴酒」則是中華文化中源遠流長的甜酒。從達官顯貴到百姓黎庶，從拜相封侯到洞房花燭，它既能登上盛宴，也能成為日常小酌。
「醴酩」所相信的，則更進一步。我們希望將奢華融入日常，實踐 “Daily Luxury” 的生活哲學，並持續尋覓那些能與台灣文化產生共鳴，貼近我們飲食習慣、氣候環境與美學感受的自然、純粹佳釀。
一路走來，我們穿梭於不同的釀酒傳統與風土之間，在無數產區與風味中摸索、學習，逐漸形成屬於醴酩的選酒視角。我們重視平衡、純淨與個性，也在意一瓶酒真正進入生活後，是否能在台灣的氣候、飲食與餐桌文化中找到自己的位置。
在這樣的歷程中，紐西蘭一直是我們實踐理念的重要夥伴之一。它與台灣同為海島，橫跨多重緯度，風土純淨多變，並以尊重自然、永續與創新為核心。這樣的精神，也持續影響著我們理解葡萄酒的方式。
近年，我們的腳步再次深入歐洲舊世界，也延伸至南美洲與更多值得重新認識的產區。從歷史悠久的葡萄園、原生品種與老藤，到不同氣候與文化孕育出的地方風格，我們尋找的從來不只是產區名氣，而是那些具有鮮明個性、結構平衡，也能與台灣飲食產生連結的葡萄酒。
以這樣的選酒方式為鏡，我們持續探索世界各地的酒莊與產區，挖掘每一片土地所孕育的獨特可能。從不同土壤、原生品種與老藤，到野生酵母、田野發酵、酒渣培養、低硫干預與自然釀造，我們希望呈現葡萄酒千姿百態，由土地、人、文化與釀造哲學共同形塑的面貌。
對醴酩而言，產區可以遙遠，文化可以陌生，但真正好的葡萄酒，最終仍應回到生活與餐桌。
而我們也將持續走下去，探索更多值得分享的可能。
“Li” (醴) is a classical Chinese word used to describe something rich, refined, and mellow. “Li Jiu” (醴酒) refers to a traditional sweet wine deeply rooted in Chinese culture. From imperial banquets to everyday tables, from ceremonial occasions to intimate celebrations, it has long belonged to both moments of grandeur and the simple pleasures of daily life.
At Liv Ming, we take this idea one step further. We believe in bringing a sense of luxury into everyday life, a philosophy we call “Daily Luxury.” With this in mind, we continue to seek wines that resonate with Taiwanese culture and complement our cuisine, climate, and aesthetic sensibilities, wines that are natural, pure, and expressive.
Over the years, we have explored different winemaking traditions and terroirs, tasting and learning across countless regions and styles. Through this journey, we have gradually developed our own perspective on wine selection. We value balance, purity, and individuality, while always considering whether a wine can truly find its place within Taiwan’s climate, cuisine, and dining culture.
Along this path, New Zealand has remained one of our most important partners in putting these ideas into practice. Like Taiwan, it is an island shaped by diverse latitudes and varied natural environments. Its emphasis on respect for nature, sustainability, and innovation continues to influence the way we understand and approach wine.
In recent years, our exploration has once again taken us deeper into the Old World, while also extending to South America and other regions deserving of greater attention. From historic vineyards, indigenous grape varieties, and old vines to distinctive local styles shaped by climate and culture, what we seek is never simply the reputation of a region. We look for wines with character, balance, and a meaningful connection to the Taiwanese table.
Guided by this philosophy, we continue to explore wineries and wine regions around the world, uncovering the unique possibilities each place has to offer. Different soils, indigenous varieties, old vines, wild yeasts, field fermentation, lees ageing, low-intervention winemaking, and natural approaches are all part of the many ways in which wine can express itself. Through them, we hope to present wine in all its diversity, shaped by land, people, culture, and winemaking philosophy.
For Liv Ming, a wine may come from a distant region or an unfamiliar culture, but a truly great wine should ultimately find its way back to everyday life and the table.
And so, we will keep moving forward, continuing to explore and share what we believe is worth discovering.
